As an engineering and technology based company, we are able to design and build closed CSTR anaerobic digester based on the specific volume and characteristic of the waste water or palm oil mill effluent (POME). Our technology package includes a pre-anaerobic, closed anaerobic degradation and post-anaerobic treatment aimed at improving the quality of discharged POME.
Biogas recovered from our anaerobic digester containing about 60% of methane gas (one of the GHG), will be trapped and flared. The offset and reduction of the methane gas will be monitored and recorded by our OMM team for Certified Emission Reduction (CER) issuance. Upon certification from CDM executive board, the CERs can be traded in the carbon market.
Other than flaring, the recovered biogas also has the potential to generate electricity as a renewable energy. The electricity generated can be utilized by the palm oil mill or sold to the grid. |
